Artists at Work

Phoenix Art Studios is an association of four sculptors, and their students, working in bronze, stone, fabrication, ceramics, wood, and painting. The studio is a full art casting foundry and all bronze work is done in house. Bronze pours are open to the public. Visitors are welcome to stop by to see completed work and works in progress. Jack Langford

Jack Langford is the studio owner and lifelong fine artist. He primarily works in stone, cast bronze sculpture and painting. His figurative work and fine stone and bronze work have earned him renown across the country. See more of Jacks work here.

Mary Lee Goldsmith

Mary Lee was an incredible artist who sadly passed away in 2015. Her work features whimsical, magical forms dancing around vessels, plates, and 2D artwork. The Studio hosts an annual retrospection of Mary Lee’s work in October. View more of Mary Lee’s artwork here..

Wataru Sugiyama

Wataru Sugiyama works with clay, stone carving and cast bronze. His work is beautiful, elegant, and features personified animals such as owls and rhinos.

Liza Hamilton

Liza is the newest to join the Studio, but has been exploring the sculptural art of felting wool for 10 years. Her whimsical animal forms come in all shapes and sizes, including a 12′ antlered fox- work in progress images above.  See some of her felted wool creations at www.wooliza.com
